Harvey Pierce shoots his former girlfriend, Robin Kerl, and her fiancée, David Jones, in the parking lot of the west side Wal-Mart as they left work.
Pierce then turns the gun on himself. Pierce and Jones died, Kerl never recovered fully, suffering permanent mental and physical disabilities.
Pierce had Huber work-release privileges with his one-year jail sentence for raping a woman. He bought the gun from a co-worker at a nearby Arby's and left work early.
