Fireman Dies in State Street Fire

Jan 8, 1966 - Madison, WI

Firefighter Daniel Parkinson was killed while fighting a fire in the apartments above the Sergenian's Carpet Store on State Street.

Parkinson was the fourth Madison firefighter to die in the line of duty.
