Ed Gein Quietly Dies at Mendota Mental Health

Jul 26, 1984 - Madison, WI

Ed Gein spent the last years of his life at Mendota Mental Health Institute after being transferred from Wausau in 1978.
He died of respiratory and heart failure due to cancer in Mendota's Goodland Hall.
